CCBA has no permanent staff and
depends upon the energy and talents of volunteers to continue our mission. This page highlights upcoming
volunteer opportunities at CCBA. Step up and help make Central Connecticut
a bike-friendly haven.
We welcome member & non-member volunteers. Other
activities are listed in the Calendar section and Advocacy
sections of our web page. If you don't find what you are looking for, let
me (webmaster@wecyclect.org) know.
These events are currently being organized. All of the
events still need volunteers and event champions to help make them
happen. Committees always need more active members to help drive CCBA
initiatives. You can help make a difference!

Discover Hartford Bicycle &
Walking Tour - 2008. Sept. 13th.
The planning
for this year's event is underway and we're looking for volunteers to make
the Tour happen! This year's event will again include two bicycle routes of
10 miles and 25 miles, as well as a walking tour. We have made a few
changes to the routes and we hope that everyone will enjoy them again this
year. Some of our sponsors have returned to support the event again this
year, and we have some new sponsors on board too! We need lots of people to
help with registration, set up, clean up, route riding, signage, etc. We
will soon begin organizing volunteer details and we hope to hear from you

looking for members to play different roles in implementing the CCBA
mission. Particular support is needed on the Membership / Fundraising
and Advocacy committees. Please contact the committee
