Tariffville to Downtown: David Westcott will be leaving Tariffville (at the Post Office) at 6:30AM and go by the intersection of Route 189 and Duncaster Road at 6:40AM. Route from there will be via Duncaster Road. Others may also join up at Cigna Corp. in Bloomfield. We will enter Cigna Insurance company campus from Route 218 (Cottage Grove Road), ride by the parking garage and turn left onto Route 185 (Simsbury Road). David can be contacted at: Work 424-3666 & Cell (716-9791) for use Friday morning only.  You have a chance to ride in with this month's super commuter.

Second East Hartford Bike to Work event - The August event was so successful that Pratt & Whitney HealthTimesm will be holding two more mid-month events on the 2nd Fridays of September & October.

- Ellington to Manchester:  Elias Friedman will be leading a ride starting at 6:30AM from the Ellington Town Green heading toward the regional Manchester Bike to Work.  He would be able to meet up with other commuters in Vernon & North Manchester on the way in.  E-mail Elias for more details. 

- Wethersfield to Downtown: Kevin Sullivan and Brian Freeman will ride to the Old State House, departing from the Wethersfield Bike shop at 7:15 AM. 

- West Hartford to Downtown: David Ringquist will start out at Elizabeth Park and ride to the Old State House. Meet at the Pond House restaurant at 7:00 am.

- Farmington to Downtown: Steve Karp is planning on being at UCONN Health Center a little before 7:00 AM to help set up, and then will be heading into Hartford, hopefully with a contingent of co-workers from my office and whomever else would like to tag along.

- East Hartford to Downtown: Tony Cherolis, will lead a ride in from the intersection of Forbes & Silver Lane in East Hartford to the Old State House. Meet at the intersection at 7:00AM (small parking lot of old florist)

- Tariffville to Downtown:  David Westcott will be leaving Tariffville (at the Post Office) at 6:15AM and go by the intersection of Routes 187 & 189 ( at the traffic light ) at 6:25AM.  East Hartford - Tony Cherolis (webmaster@wecyclect.org) will be meeting people at the corner of Forbes & Brewer Streets @ 7:30AM, continuing on Forbes to the Corner of Silver Lane and Forbes @ 7:40AM & then heading in to the East Hartford BTW event.

Tariffville - David Wescott (david.westcott@po.state.ct.us) will be riding in from the Junction of Route 187 & Route 189 leaving about 6:10AM.  Dave will be crossing the CT river at the 291 Pedestrian Crossing and then heading up Main St. South Windor towards East Hartford.  This ride is currently tentative, so let David know if you are interested.  This ride covers a lot of ground.  Folks looking to meet up at intermediate points should email David as well so he can give approximate times.

There will be loosely organized rides to the restaurant from some outlying meetup points.

The dinner is open to CCBA members and non-members.
